Need a basic bread recipe? This Irish soft drink bread requires no massaging or demonstrating, is without yeast and requires only minutes to get ready. Most importantly, it's delectable
500g plain wholemeal flour
2 tsp ocean salt
1 tsp bicarbonate of pop
1 tbsp finely cleaved rosemary (discretionary)
400ml entire milk
1 lemon, squeezed
2 tsp honey
Stage 1
Heat stove to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Combine as one the flour, salt and bicarb in a bowl. What's more, assuming you'd like rosemary bread, add the hacked rosemary as well.
Stage 2
Combine as one the milk and lemon juice in a container, and sit tight briefly as it mysteriously transforms into buttermilk. Then, at that point, mix in the honey, and just empty it into the flour combination. Mix it with a blade briefly until the situation meets up into a tacky batter.
Stage 3
Tip onto a floured work surface and shape it into a ball.
Stage 4
Put the ball on a floured baking plate and, utilizing a sharp blade, make a profound cross on top.
Stage 5
Put in the stove and prepare for 40 mins.
Stage 6
Cool on a wire rack until warm, then cut and serve.
