This low-fat, low-calorie bolognese joins lean pork mince with fennel and cherry tomatoes to give an explosion of new flavors and two of your five-a-day

Cooking Ingredients

    100g wholewheat linguine
    2 tsp rapeseed oil
    1 fennel bulb, finely cleaved
    2 garlic cloves, cut
200g pork mince with under 5% fat
    200g entire cherry tomatoes
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp vegetable bouillon powder
    liberal modest bunch hacked basil

Cooking Direction

    Stage 1
Carry a huge container of water to the bubble, then cook the linguine adhering to pack guidelines, around 10 mins.

    Stage 2
In the mean time, heat the oil in a non-stick wok or wide container. Add the fennel and garlic and cook, mixing sometimes, until delicate, around 10 mins.

    Stage 3
Tip in the pork and pan fried food until it changes tone, separating it as you go so there are no huge clusters. Add the tomatoes, vinegar and bouillon, then cover the skillet and cook for 10 mins over a low intensity until the tomatoes burst and the pork is cooked and delicate. Add the linguine and basil and a lot of pepper, and throw a long time prior to serving.
