Restaurant-Style Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

I make this beef and broccoli recipe when I want Chinese food without going out. It's very easy to prep and delicious served over rice.

Cooking Ingredients

    ⅓ cup clam sauce

    ⅓ cup sherry

    2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil

    1 teaspoon soy sauce

    1 teaspoon white sugar

    1 teaspoon cornstarch

¾ pound hamburger round steak, cut into 1/8-inch thick strips

3 tablespoons vegetable oil, in addition to more if necessary

1 meager cut of new ginger root

1 clove garlic, stripped and crushed

1 pound broccoli, cut into florets

Cooking Direction

Whisk shellfish sauce, sherry, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch together in a bowl; mix until sugar has broken up.

Place steak in a shallow bowl. Pour shellfish sauce blend over meat and mix to cover; cover and marinate in the cooler for something like 30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or huge skillet over medium-high intensity. Add ginger and garlic; let sizzle for around 1 moment to season oil, then eliminate and dispose of. Mix in broccoli. Throw and mix until dazzling green and practically delicate, 5 to 7 minutes. Eliminate broccoli from the wok and put away.

Add somewhat more oil to the wok, if necessary, then, at that point, add meat with marinade. Mix and throw until sauce thickens and turns gleaming and meat is as of now not pink, around 5 minutes. Return broccoli to the wok; mix until warmed through, around 3 minutes.
